SINCE 1990
Crafting Exceptional Millwork for Over Three Decades
Coastal Millworks was founded in 1990 in West Palm Beach, Florida by John and Mary Maffett with a simple vision: to deliver uncompromising craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and service excellence in architectural millwork. From a 4,000-square-foot workshop with a handful of used machines, the company grew steadily through word of mouth, long-term client relationships, and a reputation for precision and reliability in South Florida's luxury construction market.
Today, Coastal Millworks operates from a 24,000-square-foot facility spanning architectural woodwork, casework, advanced finishing operations and a dedicated installation team. Now led by Rick Maffett, son of founder John Maffett and Ed Patino, 30-year veteran of Coastal Millworks, the company enters its next chapter with the same commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and enduring quality that has defined Coastal Millworks since day one.
